YES!!! I have been thoroughly enjoying the off season!! Coach has been letting me do my own thing and I'm loving it.

The last couple of months have been pretty busy though. We have partnered with a fantastic race with the likes of several cool olympians, one being Hunter Kemper. The race is called Tri At The Trump and we are the official swim coaches for this awesome race. That looks to keep us pretty busy in the spring and into May. We are really excited about it. This particular race is working with the Pinky Swear Foundation too and well, that's just pretty awesome.

We have also been busy putting things together with Tri Team Ignite and I have some exciting sponsorship news for myself coming as well...(meow) More on that later. I've been lucky enough to ride and run with some of the ladies from Ignite lately. We've been hitting the roads, hitting the trails and having a great time doing it . It's great to have such a wonderful support group. We look forward to 2015 with this awesome group of people.

On the bike front....I finally was able to go with Blue Bikes. Steven Harad took care of us when Rich was with Kestrel and now Ignite is sponsored by Blue. We couldn't be more grateful to Steven and his support. It was with hesitation though that I decided to sell my trusty Trek and go with a new bike. After only a few rides on this machine, I can tell you that this has been, BY FAR, the best move I have ever made. I plan to write more on this later.

Lots of plans for 2015 are being made. I am still in high hopes that Rich will race at again next year. We shall see. He crashed his bike three weeks ago at 40mph. Wasn't his fault really. The pedal came loose and down he went. He was pretty bashed and bruised with a concussion and rib fractures, but he's on the mend now, thankfully.

We are both in full on coaching mode now. I have started the Tri Swim Academy and Rich is now coaching full time again and has openings for new athletes. Check out his site...Rich Allen Pro Systems

We are back to England in three weeks and very much looking forward to that! Ok, quickest catch up ever but with a toddler on my's all I can do.

Another post to come following this one....stay tuned.

Cheers all ~
