ONE WORD....EXHILARATING!!

That's the word that I would use to describe todays 12 mile run in the snow and freezing cold. Exhilarating!! It was! I love snow and it was nice to see another one, but I have to say, I am ready for spring. I feel certain this will be my last run in the snow at least until next winter. Weather forecast is already showing 70 degree temps by Friday.

Anyway, the run was great. It felt good. My legs felt good and I could breathe :) Finally...I can breathe!! It all felt so good, and I swear at times I caught myself with a huge grin on my frozen face. I AM ready for the marathon. Ready to do it, have fun with it...I love this stuff! Hope all my southern friends who got to see the white stuff got to play in it too :) It's been a while since a lot of deep southerner's have seen snow, and am so glad that they got to see it this time. YAY!

Not much else to report. I am heading to the pool now for a 2 hour gill refresher!! WOO!

Some pics from the snow.....

Caleb thought running out in shorts and slippers was fun -(for about 60 seconds hehe)
Trickery...just when we ALL thought spring was here...SNOW!
Running in the snow....highly recommended!

Happy Monday All~

I was back in VT a week ago and went out running after it snowed. It was so cool to be out with everything covered. We don't see that much, being in SoCal.
